Media Genesis is a multi-media agency specializing in marketing and technology with a focus on software and web development. The company provides web development and related services for some of the largest companies in the world (Chrysler, General Motors, Disney, Kmart, Kia and many others). The company has a progressive work attitude and provides considerable hands on experience early on. Interns are often exposed to many real projects and develop new skills as part of their internship.

Trainee will have the opportunity to participate in on-going projects with a high level of responsibility. Trainee will develop, produce, and implement software and web applications.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Help develop and support web applications from conceptualization to support (from information architecture to network engineering and support).
- Write code and design applications as part of larger project.
- Complete elements of product development.
- Create application prototype and architecture.
- Produce, test, implement, and maintain application.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:

Candidates should have:
-a Master's degree completed or in progress in Information Systems or Computer Science
-experience in engineering, information systems, networks and programming.
-strong knowledge or experience in any of the following languages: ASP.NET, ASP/VBScript, Java, PHP, CGI with Perl, Javascript, HTML/DHTML/XML, CSS, J2EE, Java, Visual Basic.
-good skills in speaking and writing English.

Candidates should be fast, very comfortable with computers and software, have a strong desire to learn, and be very detail-oriented.
